SUMMARY OF MODULE 2:

A romantic relationship is not defined by material aspects such as intimacy, marriage contracts or children. What defines it is a mutual choice after an honest and complete exchange of information. Yes, initially a bit like a job interview but then with a lot more cuddling later on (I hope😊)

Case Study 1: Box of Chocolates

By the time Judith turned 30, she had just separated from her fifth boyfriend. She feared that she was never going to find the right partner. Judith had thought about what went wrong, but she could not find a consistent mistake in her choice of ex partners. One ex boyfriend was unsuitable because he was grumpy, the other was unsuitable because he insisted that Judith join his religion, the third was unsuitable because he was dishonest to Judith, and so the list goes on. Judith did not know what to do, her love life felt like a box of chocolates: she never know what would come next. Fortunately her father had an idea: go visit a relationship advisor and intermediary. Judith was lucky as she managed to find a good relationship agency, with dedicated and competent staff. Her adviser explained to Judith the mistake she had been making. In all of her previous relationships she had failed to inquire whom she was forming a relationship with, and if this person was compatible with her. Because she had just fallen in love, she had never chosen someone as her partner but simply responded to emotions and only found out later that she were incompatible. The relationship agency interviewed Judith elaborately and made a precise list of whom she was and whom she was looking for. Equipped with this knowledge Judith was able to quickly identify a person that had all the requirements for a relationship based on mutual compatibility.
