Privacy Policy – CHOOZIER
Last updated: 2 June 2026.
CHOOZIER (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit or use our website and services.
This policy applies to the website www.choozier.com and all related services, including free demos, interactive modules, progress tracking, reviews, and email notifications.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
CHOOZIER
Country: The Netherlands.
Contact email: info@choozier.com.
CHOOZIER is a trade name of Synergy Effecten B.V., Chamber of Commerce 24 27 75 85 located at Zeestraat 70, 2518 AC The Hague, The Netherlands. Synergy Effecten B.V. is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the GDPR.
2. What personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
a) Data you provide voluntarily
i. Email address (e.g. to receive notifications or updates).
ii. Reviews, feedback, or survey responses.
iii. Account or login information (if accounts are enabled).
iv. Users may log in using their Google account. When doing so, Google processes authentication data under its own privacy policy. On first login, a user account is created on the platform using the information necessary to provide the service. When you sign in using your Google account, we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and a unique Google user ID. This information is used solely to authenticate your account and provide access to the platform. We do not access, read, or store any other data from your Google account. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only for authentication and account access.
b) Usage and technical data
i. The platform stores your completion status for each module (e.g., not started, started, or completed) to allow you to track your progress. Crucially, your specific answers, selections, and inputs within the interactive quizzes and H5P exercises are processed entirely locally on your device's browser (frontend) and are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on our servers. This data is required to provide the core functionality of the platform.
ii. Progress within the demo modules.
iii. IP address.
iv. Browser type and device information.
v. Log files and timestamps.
c) Cookies and similar technologies
i. Functional cookies (e.g. to remember progress or login status).
Special Category Data: our course invitations look at personal relationship fundamentals, personal philosophies, and views on life. Because your quiz selections remain local to your browser, we do not store this sensitive data on our backend. However, because our review and feedback fields accept open-text input, you are explicitly requested not to include sensitive personal details (such as religious beliefs, health information, or political opinions) within your text feedback.
3. Why we collect your data (purposes)
Providing feedback and an email address is optional and not required to use the platform. We process personal data for the following purposes:
a. To provide access to the free demo and interactive course content.
b. To track learning progress and improve user experience.
c. To collect feedback and reviews.
d. To notify users when new modules or services become available.
e. To communicate with users who have requested updates.
f. To improve website performance and content.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
a. Consent - when you provide your email address or agree to receive updates.
b. Performance of a contract - to provide access to interactive content or accounts.
c. Legitimate interest - to improve our services and ensure website security.
d. Legal obligation - where required by law.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Email communications
If you provide your email address to be notified about new modules or services:
a. You will only receive emails related to CHOOZIER.

c. Analyze website usage (only if consent is given).
You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through your browser settings or our consent banner (if applicable).
7. Data sharing and third parties
Authentication providers, such as Google, process login data under their own privacy policies. We only receive the minimum information necessary to authenticate users. We do not sell your personal data. The WordPress backend (with the email addresses and progress) is hosted in the Netherlands by Yourhosting. Personal data exports may be generated either in a pseudonymized form or, where strictly necessary, in an identifiable form. Identifiable exports are restricted and logged.
We may share limited data with trusted third parties only when necessary, such as:
a. Website hosting providers.
b. Email service providers.
c. Analytics providers (if enabled).
Your personal data may be processed by our service providers (such as Google and Vercel) outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure that such transfers are compliant with the GDPR, for example, by relying on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure a similar level of protection for your data.
All third parties are required to comply with GDPR and process data only on our instructions.
CHOOZIER’s use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google account data is not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes. Email communications are only sent if the user has explicitly opted in, and are not based on Google account data.
8. Data retention
Account and progress data: for the duration of your active account. Accounts that remain completely inactive for a period of 2 years will be automatically deleted or anonymized. Users can request deletion of their data. When user data is exported, this action is logged for security and compliance purposes; these logs are retained for 120 days.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:
a. Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
b. Technical data: for a limited period for security and analytics purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time.
9. Your rights under GDPR
Users have the right to access, export, correct, and delete their personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional data at any time. You have the right to:
a. Access your personal data.
b. Correct inaccurate data.
c. Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”).
d. Restrict or object to processing.
e. Withdraw consent at any time.
f. Receive a copy of your data (data portability).
g. Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Where we process personal data based on legitimate interest, you have the right to object to such processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact us at: info@choozier.com.
10. Data security
All data export actions are logged for security and compliance purposes. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
However, no online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s privacy
We aim to minimize the collection of personal data and process data only where necessary to provide the requested service.
Age Restrictions: CHOOZIER provides relationship-forming educational content intended exclusively for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, request, or process personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that personal data has been collected in a manner that does not comply with applicable data protection laws, we will take appropriate steps to address this.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the revision date updated.
13. Contact
Users can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via their website (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
